Jalapeño Bacon-Wrapped Tots with Cheese Sauce

Takes 45 Minutes
• Cheese Sauce:
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
• 2 cups whole milk
• 1 cup grated Monterey jack cheese
• Tater Tots:
• Vegetable oil
• 1 lb. HORMEL® BLACK LABEL® Premium Jalapeño Bacon, cut each slice into 3 ½-inch lengths
• 24 frozen tater tots, thawed
Directions
In medium saucepan on medium heat, melt butter. Add flour, salt, and pepper, whisking over medium heat 1 minute. Add milk gradually while whisking. Heat to boiling. Add cheese until melted. Serve warm.
For the tater tots:In large saucepan over medium heat, heat oil to 375°F. Roll slice of bacon around each tater tot. Secure with wooden pick. Cook each tater tot in oil 2 minutes, or until bacon is crisp. Serve with warm cheese sauce for dipping.
